Refund Policy

1. Plans and billing

The Service may offer limited free translation requests before paid subscription and paid subscription plans. The current price, billing period, taxes, available payment methods and main features are displayed before purchase.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, available plans are:

• Monthly plan — $9.99 per month.
• Half-yearly plan — $49.99 every 6 months.
• Yearly plan — $79.99 per year.

Taxes may be calculated or displayed during checkout where required. If checkout displays a different currency or local price, the checkout price controls.

2. Payment providers and merchant of record

Payments may be processed by Paddle, Stripe, PayPal, Apple, Google or other payment providers. The provider used for a transaction may apply its own terms, payment authentication, refund interface, tax handling and billing rules.

Where a provider acts as merchant of record, that provider may be responsible for collecting, invoicing and remitting applicable VAT, GST, sales tax or similar transaction taxes. Mintech does not store full card details.

3. Free translation limits

Users may use up to 20 contextual translation or one-click saving requests before registration, subject to technical and anti-abuse limits.

After registration, users may receive 100 additional contextual translation or one-click saving requests before a paid subscription is required.

The user is not charged automatically after the free limits are used unless the user has separately confirmed a paid subscription.

4. Automatic renewal

Paid subscriptions renew according to the selected billing period until cancelled. By confirming a paid subscription, the user authorises the relevant payment provider to charge the applicable recurring fee.

5. What remains available without subscription

If the user does not subscribe or cancels, saved vocabulary and cards remain available, subject to technical availability and the Terms. The user may continue practising saved cards, editing cards and adding new words manually.

Contextual translation, document conversion, YouTube subtitle translation and one-click saving from real content may require an active subscription.

6. Cancellation

The user may cancel through the cancellation button in the extension, account area or the relevant payment-provider interface.

Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. The user retains paid access until that date, unless the account is suspended for breach of the Terms.

7. Failed payments

If a payment fails, Mintech may suspend paid features. Access to already saved vocabulary and cards may remain available, but new translations, document conversion, YouTube subtitle translation and adding new words through one-click saving may be disabled.

8. EU consumer withdrawal right

If you are an EU consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days from conclusion of the contract, unless an exception applies.

For digital services or digital content supplied during the withdrawal period, Mintech may ask for your express consent to immediate performance and your acknowledgement that you may lose the right of withdrawal once the paid service is fully performed or supply begins as permitted by applicable law.

9. Refunds

Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, subscription fees are not refunded for periods already paid if the Service was available and the user had access to paid features.

If mandatory consumer law requires a refund, Mintech will provide it through the original payment method or the relevant payment provider.
